Wanted to share that GPS has finally been added to the Dianon/Labcorp requisition. This has been a work in progress with the Dianon team out of OKC. They would not do changes and a new print run until they ran through their current stock. Good news, you may now share with your customers that BOTH ConfirmMDx and GPS are available for reflex testing when using the Dianon paper requisition. There are two main locations that process prostate specimens, OKC and CT and they have separate requisitions which I’ve attached here.
**New specimen boxes will have the new requisition BUT some clinics may still have old stock.
**Train staff on where to check the appropriate boxes for reflex as well as complete the required clinical information for respective assays. it’s a very dense requisition and NOT obvious. I’ve highlighted on the req for easier visual.
**Some clinics have an EMR order platform and print a lab order and do not use the paper requisition. In this scenario, stickers will still need to be utilized for reflex.
